Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday addressed grievances of around 200 people at Janata Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple and ordered prompt and effective resolution of all the issues raised.
The CM arrived in Gorakhpur on Saturday evening and stayed overnight at the Gorakhnath Temple. On Sunday morning, he listened to people’s problems one by one, handed over their applications to the officials concerned, and assured them of resolution. He urged everyone not to worry, assuring that their issues would be resolved without delay.
Chief Minister Adityanath assured people seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses during Janta Darshan that they should get treated at the best hospitals without any hesitation or financial concern, as the government will help with the treatment cost.
He affirmed that the state would arrange whatever amount is required for their treatment. The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite the preparation of cost estimates for applicants seeking medical aid and forward them to the government promptly, ensuring that every needy patient receives adequate support from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to address public grievances with seriousness, sensitivity, and efficiency, ensuring timely, qualitative, and satisfactory solutions. He emphasised that no victim should face neglect, and that all complaints-whether related to illegal land occupation, bullying, or family disputes-must be resolved earnestly.
In cases of land disputes, he directed strict legal action against wrongdoers and advised that family matters be settled through dialogue between both parties. Responding to one woman’s plea, he instructed officials to grant her the lease for her land.
As in previous Janata Darshan events, several attendees sought financial help for critical medical treatment. The CM reiterated that his government would never allow a lack of funds to hinder anyone’s treatment and that support from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund would be provided to all in need.
