The budget session 2026-27 of Uttar Pradesh Legislature will begin from February 9. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna will present the budget on February 11. The session is proposed till February 20 and Chief Minister Yogi has appealed for the cooperation of the House.
Lucknow. The budget session 2026-27 of Uttar Pradesh Legislature will start from 9th February. Honorable Governor Smt. Anandi Ben Patel will address the joint meeting of the Assembly and the Legislative Council on Monday, the first day of the session.
Condolence motion on 10th February, House proposed till 20th February
On February 10, condolences will be expressed on the demise of current and former members of the House. The proceedings of the Legislature are proposed to continue till February 20.
Finance Minister will present UP Budget 2026-27 on February 11
On February 11 (Wednesday), the budget for the financial year 2026-27 will be presented in the House by Finance Minister Shri Suresh Khanna. After this, discussion on the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address will begin.
Regular meetings till 13 February, holiday on 14-15 February
The proceedings of the House will continue regularly till 13 February. The House meeting will be adjourned on 14th and 15th February as it is Saturday and Sunday. Legislative proceedings will resume from February 16.
Assembly Speaker and Chief Minister appealed for cooperation
Assembly Speaker Shri Satish Mahana has requested all the members to cooperate in the smooth and successful functioning of the House. Meanwhile, Leader of the House and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have appealed to the MLAs to put forward public issues in the House, have healthy discussions and cooperate with the government to speed up the development of the state.
