CM Yogi’s clarification regarding Anandiben Patel’s program
During the discussion on the Governor’s address, the Chief Minister clearly said that the Governor had come to the House as per a pre-determined programme. This was not a sudden decision. He told that this program had already been discussed in party meetings.
CM Yogi’s comment on the behavior of Leader of Opposition – citing Sanatan tradition
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey that he is from a reputed family, is a Brahmin, a senior and experienced leader. For this reason, his words are taken seriously, but this kind of behavior is not appropriate. He said that you talk about Sanatan in your statement, but your behavior does not match it. It is important to maintain dignity and respect in public life.
Mother respect in Sanatan tradition – Reference to Vedvyas
The Chief Minister said that in Sanatan Dharma, there is a tradition of giving equal respect to mother or woman older in age. Maharishi Vedvyas had given guidance in this matter thousands of years ago. He told that Maharishi Vedvyas is considered a great interpreter of Sanatan Dharma. He transcribed the Vedas and preserved them for future generations. At that time India was a developed civilization and was considered a country that gave direction to the world.
Quoting a famous verse of Maharishi Vedvyas, the Chief Minister said-
“Nasti Matrisma Chhaya, Nasti Matrisma Gatih.
Nasti Matrisama Traanam, Nasti Matrisama Priya.”
It means that there is no one in this world who is a shade, support, protector and beloved like a mother.
