At present, about 6 thousand workers of UP are working in Israel and their work is being appreciated. The same positive experience has inspired the labor department to send youth to other countries as well, in which Japan and Germany are at the top.

What jobs will be found in Japan and Germany?
According to Principal Secretary Labor and Employment Dr. MKS Sundaram, there is a great demand for those who take care of the elderly in the ‘Old Aid Care’ sector in Japan. At the same time, nurse and caretaker are required in Germany hospitals, special clinics and rehabilitation centers. These jobs will have five to eight hours of work time daily.
How will preparation be done before sending youth abroad?
The UP government has created a special training module to prepare the youth for foreign jobs. In this training, skills will be taught as per the demand of the market, so that the candidates can keep pace with the methods of functioning and language there.
Opportunities are opening in Gulf countries, not only Europe
The demand for skilled workers from the Gulf countries is also continuously coming. For this, the Labor Department has prepared an online portal, where youth will be able to register. It will also be told on the portal that in which country there is a demand for which skills, and the employers will also be able to choose from here.
Second phase also ready for Israel
Construction and repair work in Israel has accelerated after the war. So far, 6 thousand workers have been sent from UP, and 3 thousand more workers will be sent soon in the next phase. This is not only fulfilling the need for Israel, but the youth of UP are also getting a big opportunity to earn. The government aims to start the process by completing employment agreements with Japan and Germany in the coming months. If this scheme is implemented on time, new doors of permanent and respectable employment abroad can open for thousands of youth.
