Supreme Court stayed the bail of former BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar. In the Unnao rape case, SC issued notice to Sengar and sought reply within 2 weeks. The next hearing will be held after 4 weeks. Delhi High Court had granted bail on 23 December 2025. CBI had petitioned the Supreme Court. Supreme Court said: The accused is already guilty, hence it is necessary to stop the bail. Women Congress workers protest in support of the victim, clash with the police.
