This miraculous temple of Doctor Hanuman is situated at a place named Dandraua in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh, hence it is also known as Dandraua Dham. It is said that there was a great devotee of Hanumanji, whose name was Shivkumar Das. He was suffering from cancer. Hanumanji had appeared to him in the form of a doctor at this very place, after which his illness was cured. After that this temple of Hanumanji came to be known as Doctor Hanuman De.
