Dr Surendra Dubey Poetry Book: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the last poetry work “I speak Chhattisgarh” in Raipur. His contribution in the promotion of Chhattisgarhi language, literature was remembered in the program.
Mai chhattisgarh bolta hu book launch: Today’s evening was filled with emotions, literature and culture in the Mac College Auditorium in the capital Raipur. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the late Padmashri Dr. Surendra Dubey, his last poetry work “Main Chhattisgarh speaks” was released from the Karakamalas of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. This occasion was not only respected by his literary contribution, but also a memory of his indelible love for Chhattisgarhi language and culture.
“Dr. Dubey was the true guard of Chhattisgarhi language” – Chief Minister
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while paying tribute, said that Dr. Dubey took Chhattisgarhi language to the country and abroad through poems wrapped in syrup of humor and satire. He said –
“He was not only a comic poet, but a guard of social consciousness, whose words touched the hearts of people.”

Incomparable damage to literature
The Chief Minister said that the absence of Dr. Dubey has left an emptiness in the field of literature and culture, which is impossible to fill. He remembered how he listened to Dr. Dubey’s poems on many forums and inspired him.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, who is presiding over the program, said that Dr. Dubey’s poems did not only bring laughter, but also showed a mirror to the society. He said that Dr. Dubey gave a new direction to the cultural self -respect of Chhattisgarh through his writing and dialogue.
A dignified presence of litterateurs and public representatives
On this occasion, Dharsivan MLA Padmashree Mr. Anuj Sharma read the article, while the late. Dr. Dubey’s wife Mrs. Shashi Dubey expressed his gratitude. Cabinet Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Durg MP Shri Vijay Baghel and many litterateurs and public representatives were present in the program. The event was organized by Shri Surendra Dubey Foundation.
