There has been a phone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukraine President Volodimir Jailnsky. Jailonsky stated the latest situation regarding the ongoing fight with Russia. There will be talks between Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on 1 September.
Ukraine war: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi arrived in China on Saturday to join the SCO Summit. Russia President Vladimir Putin will also attend this conference. On 1 September, there is going to be a conversation between PM Narendra Modi and President Putin. Earlier on Saturday, Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky spoke to PM Modi over the phone.
PM Narendra Modi said a peaceful solution to fight
Discussed the latest status of the ongoing war between Kiev and Moscow with Modi from Jailonsky. The Prime Minister’s Office gave this information on Saturday evening. PM Modi reiterated his commitment to the peaceful solution to this fight between Russia and Ukraine. PMO said in the statement,

India will help in trying peace
PM Modi thanked Jailnsky and confirmed India’s strong and continuous stance and support for early restoration of peace for peaceful solutions to the struggle. He reiterated India’s commitment to provide all possible assistance in this regard.

After a conversation with the Ukrainian President, PM Modi wrote on the X, “Thank you to the President Jailonsky for his phone call today. We exchanged views on the ongoing struggle, its human aspect and efforts to restore peace and stability. India gives full support to all efforts in this direction.”
