The accused took advantage of the complete information within the bank and carried out the theft of 4.7 kg gold and Rs 8 lakh in cash with four of his friends. The shocking thing is that the locks of the bank were not broken, but the treasure was given empty with the ‘internal key’.
What was the real reason for the robbery?
Police investigation revealed that accused Jai Bhavsar adopted the religion of Islam by watching YouTube videos and now calls himself ‘Zeeshan’. Police suspect that there may be a big brainwashing network behind this whole incident. Accused Zeeshan, along with his four Muslim friends Sahil, Abdullah, Arbaaz and Kohinoor, planned the theft and carried out the incident in the dark of night.

Bank’s internal ‘gate pass’ became the robbery
The biggest secret of the incident was that the bank’s lock was not broken. Investigation revealed that Zeeshan had bank keys. He called his friends inside the bank at 2:30 pm and emptied the gold locker and cash counter within 35 minutes. According to the police, the fire in the bank on August 16 can also be a part of this conspiracy.
Sorted up in just 12 hours, bank officials also fell
On receiving the information of the incident, the Ujjain police came into action and revealed the whole matter within 12 hours. The accused employee and his associates were arrested after CCTV footage and questioning of the suspects. SBI Mahananda Nagar Branch Manager Payal Maheshwari, Service Manager Surendra Kumar Madhav and Cash Officer Abhinav were also suspended in this case.
