Karwa Chauth 2025: Married women will keep a waterless fast on the day of Karva Chauth for the long life of their husband and will break this fast only after worshiping the Moon. Although there are many temples in the religious city of Ujjain, but on Karva Chauth, the doors of the temple of Chauth Mata are opened. There is this unique temple of Karva Chauth Mata in Jeevan Khedi area on the banks of Shipra river on Nagda bypass road, where along with Goddess Parvati, her daughters-in-law Riddhi, Siddhi along with her brothers Labh, Shubh and sister Santoshi Mata are present.
Temple administrator Dr. Kailash Nagvanshi told that although this temple remains closed for 364 days, this temple is opened only once in a year on Karva Chauth. Where Mother Goddess gives darshan of her three forms to her devotees. On Karva Chauth, a large number of devotees will reach the temple to worship the Mother Goddess, where vermillion of Mother Kamakhya, Rudraksh of Nepal and special coins will be presented to the devotees as Prasad.
Mother is seen in different forms
It is said that on Karva Chauth, Mother is seen in different forms. In the morning, Mother appears in child form, in the afternoon as a teenager and in the evening in a special form. A large number of mothers and sisters reach the temple for these divine darshans on Karva Chauth and along with taking advantage of the darshan, they also pray for the long life of their husbands. Along with married women, unmarried girls also come to the temple with the wish of getting a good husband.

The doors of the temple of Karva Chauth Mata open only once a year. Where every women and girls who come for darshan are presented vermilion of Mother Kamakhya, Rudraksh of Nepal, coin of Garbhagrah, Tantric cloth of Mata Rani as Prasad. Temple administrator Dr. Nagvanshi told that the temple is connected to the Siddha Peeth of Maa Karva Chauth located in Barwada town of Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, where Karva Chauth Mata has been invited from this temple and brought to Ujjain. After this, Mother’s blessings always remain on everyone. Mata Rani fulfills the wishes of every devotee who comes to the temple.
