Golden visa program
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made its golden visa program much easier than ever. Now there is no heavy investment condition to get this visa. UAE has started a nomination -based golden visa, which will give great benefit to many professionals including Indians. This visa can now be achieved without investing in property or business.
Earlier, when this scheme started in 2019, only big investors used to get 10 years of golden visa. For this, investment in assets of at least 20 lakh Dirham (about 4.6 crore rupees) was necessary. In 2022, the rules were given some relief, but the condition of investment remained.
Who will benefit from golden visa
Now in May 2025, the UAE government has made this scheme more comprehensive. Now people like nurses, teachers, principals, university faculty, YouTuber, Podcaster, Digital Content Creators, E-Sports Professionals (above 25 years), Marine sector officers and luxury yacht owners are also eligible for this visa.
Under the new policy, Indian citizens can now get lifetime golden visa by paying a fee of only 1 lakh dirhams (about 23.3 lakh rupees). There is no need for any kind of investment in this. This visa is permanent, that is, it does not end like a property -based visa.
The first phase of this scheme has been started in India and Bangladesh. Rayad Group has been given the responsibility of visa investigation in India. It is estimated that more than 5,000 Indians can apply in the next three months.
how to apply?
- Go to UAE’s official website icp.gov.ae
- Choose Golden Visa option in Services Tab
- Select the related category and click on Start Service
- Fill the form, upload the document and submit the fee
- Submit the application and save the copy of the form
On getting a golden visa, the family can be kept with you, servants and drivers, and any work can be done. This visa is now opening new doors of permanent residence and career in UAE.
