This match was very important for both the teams considering the race for the semi-finals, but the Indian team gave a crushing defeat to Pakistan. India Under-19 team, who came to bat first after losing the toss, scored 252 runs in 49.5 overs and were all out. Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave a fast start to the team by scoring 30 runs in 22 balls. But he could not play a big innings and within no time the team lost 3 wickets in 9 overs. But Vedant Trivedi held one end and scored 68 runs in 98 balls, which became the backbone of the team’s innings. Kanishk Chauhan also played a useful inning of 35 runs in 29 balls. RS Ambareesh also added 29 runs in 38 balls. In the last overs, the 50-run partnership between Kanishk Chauhan and Khilan Patel took the score beyond 250 runs.
