Harare: Indian opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s bat wreaked havoc against England in the Under-19 World Cup final. Vaibhav played an innings of 175 runs in 80 balls while playing with great style. He completed his century in 55 balls. Suryavanshi, who completed his half-century in 32 balls, took only 23 more balls to reach his century. Vaibhav, who reached the score of 90 by hitting three sixes and a four in the 17th over of England spinner Farhan Ahmed, took a single by playing Ralphie Arbert’s ball towards cover and completed his century. Vaibhav scored this century with the help of 8 fours and 8 sixes in 55 balls. Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit 15 fours and 15 sixes in 175 runs.

Vaibhav completed his half-century in 32 balls in the eleventh over. He achieved this feat with the help of six fours and three sixes. After this, Vaibhav, who hit two sixes in the fifteenth over of Farhan Ahmed, crossed the score of 90 by hitting three sixes and a four in his seventeenth over. Captain Ayush Mhatre, who brought up his half-century in 50 balls by hitting a six off Alex Green, was caught out trying to hit another six on the very next ball.
