Dubai: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman and Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi will lodge a complaint with the ICC, demanding action against Indian players who misbehaved with Pakistani players during the Under-19 Asia Cup final. Pakistan team coach and former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed had alleged that the behavior of the Indian players during the match was not proper. After this, while talking to the media, Naqvi said that a complaint will be lodged in ICC against the bad behavior of Indian players. Naqvi said that an official complaint will be lodged with the ICC against the Indian players and that politics and sports should be looked at separately.
Sarfaraz Khan’s video clip goes viral
During the Under-19 Asia Cup final, an audio clip of Sarfaraz Ahmed had surfaced, in which he was giving instructions to the Pakistani players on how to behave with the Indian players. In the audio clip, Sarfaraz was telling the Pakistani players not to ignore those who ignore them and not to behave beyond the dignity of the game. Although its authenticity was not confirmed, Sarfaraz admitted in a press conference that the audio circulating on social media was his. He said, ‘I have played against the Indian team before also. But then they respected the game. But now after watching the game from outside, I felt that this team is not respecting the game. The behavior of Indian players on the field was sometimes unethical. You must have also seen many emotional performances of Indian players in the field on TV. But we celebrated the victory only according to the dignity of the game.

Meanwhile, there were also reports that after the shameful defeat against Pakistan in the final, BCCI will seek clarification from the coach and captain on the defeat. The bad behavior of some Indian players in the final against Pakistan is also likely to be discussed in the meeting. Pakistan defeated India by 191 runs in the title match held in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Batting first, Pakistan scored 347 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs with the help of a century from opener Sameer Minhas, while India was all out for 156 runs in 26.2 overs.
