Asim Munir US Visit: Pak Army Chief Asim Munir is going to America for the second time in two months. This tour is important between Indo-Pak tension and trade agreement.
Asim Munir US Visit: Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Aseem Munir is once again visiting America. The special thing is that this journey is taking place only two months after his previous Washington tour. During the last visit in June, Munir met former US President Donald Trump at the White House for about two hours. During this time, the most surprising thing is that no Pakistani civilian leader was present in this meeting. For the first time in history, a Pakistani military chief was called to the Oval office alone.
Second American visit in two months
US President Donald Trump called Marshal Asim Munir for private lunch at the White House. During this time, Trump claimed that he had a role in the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He also praised Munir in this case. Although India had said that the ceasefire was only through mutual dialogue between the DGMO, there was no role of any foreign country in it.

10% deduction in tariff on Pakistani exports
US President Donald Trump has recently imposed 25% tariff on goods coming from India. From August 27 and 25% tariffs will be added. In this way, a total tax will be levied on Indian products. The Trump administration has taken this step in response to India to buy large quantities of crude oil from Russia. On the other hand, the Trump administration has announced a trade agreement with Pakistan, under which American companies will be given access to Pakistan’s oil reserves. However, with this, Trump, signing an executive order, has reduced the tariff on Pakistani exports from 29% to 19%. Experts believe that this step is a sign of relief for Pakistan on one side, on the other hand there is a strategy to maintain pressure on it.
