The Venkatesh-Kalyan Ram multistarrer, currently referred to as #VenkyAnil5 and #NKRAR2, is progressing at a brisk pace. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is targeting a Sankranthi 2027 release, with the current schedule taking place on a specially constructed set in Hyderabad.
According to our sources, Anil Ravipudi has shortlisted two titles for the film: Bammardi Balreddy and January 13 Vidudala. The makers are yet to finalize the title, but “Bammardi Balreddy” appears to be a more fitting choice given the relationship between the two lead characters.
Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram are said to be playing brothers-in-law in the film. revealing that he plays Lt. Colonel Venkat Reddy. This also indicates that Kalyan Ram’s character is named Balreddy, giving the title Bammardi Balreddy a direct connection to the characters.
Keerthy Suresh is paired opposite Venkatesh, while Krithi Shetty is the leading lady opposite Kalyan Ram.
Mounted on a lavish scale, the film blends humour, emotions, family drama and celebratory entertainment. The combination of Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram and Anil Ravipudi has already generated considerable interest, even as the film continues its production.
