The ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran is affecting all the countries of the world. This war is causing shortage of oil and gas. People are getting worried in India also. Meanwhile, there is a relief news. Many ships loaded with LPG are safely moving towards India, which is expected to reduce the supply crisis.
According to the information, two big ships filled with LPG, which have crossed the Strait of Hormuz, are on their way. A total of about 94,000 tonnes of LPG will reach India from these two ships. BW Tire (Indian flag ship) is heading towards Mumbai carrying about 46,500 tonnes of LPG. This cargo is for Bharat Petroleum and is expected to reach by the evening of March 31.
BW TYR is in the Arabian Sea
BW TYR is currently in the Arabian Sea, heading towards the port of Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. The ship is moving at a speed of 13.6 knots and is expected to reach Mumbai by 11:00 pm tomorrow i.e. Tuesday (31 March night). BW TYR (IMO 9346122, MMSI 419001673) is a LPG Tanker built in 2008 (about 18 years old) currently operating under Indian flag.

BW Elm heading towards New Mangaluru Port
Whereas BW Elm is going towards New Mangaluru Port carrying about 47,000 tonnes of LPG. This is for Hindustan Petroleum and is expected to reach by 1st April (Wednesday). The location of BW ELM is near the West Coast of India. This LPG tanker is moving at a speed of about 14.5 knots. This tanker is moving at a speed of 14.5 knots and is in normal operation. BW ELM is an Indian flagged large LPG tanker, approximately 225 meters in length. This ship can reach its destination by Wednesday.
Indian ships are still stuck in the gulf
At present about 18 Indian ships (LPG, LNG and crude carriers) are present in the Persian Gulf. The Indian Navy and the government are constantly monitoring their security and are coordinating with Iran to provide them safe passage. So that these ships can return to India.

Ships are passing near the coast of Iran. Their identity is being ensured by giving signal of Indian ship & crew.
Each transit is being cleared on a case-by-case basis. After this, safe movement of these ships is taking place.
