Police arrested his son Amit during a raid at Kusum’s residence in March. The raid recovered 550 packets heroin, traumadol tablets (which are misused as intoxicants), Rs 14 lakh cash, and a Mahindra Scorpio SUV. Police believe that this seizure reflects the vastness of Kusum’s drug network. There are already 12 cases registered against Kusum under the NDPS Act.

2 crore suspected transactions in daughters’ accounts

The police investigated the bank accounts of two daughters of Kusum, in which about 2 crore rupees were deposited in the last 18 months. Thousands of small transactions were recorded in these accounts, mainly between Rs 2,000 and 5,000. In the first half of this year, about 70 lakh rupees were deposited. Daughters could not give any reliable explanation about the source of this money.

Mini palace found in Sultanpuri

The police found a unique building in Sultanpuri, which broke the interior walls of four different residential units and converted into a four-storey “Mini-Mahal”. This building, which looked simple from outside, was a grand complex from inside. Delhi Police has written a letter to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to review the status and approval of this building. Although
Kusum is still absconding, but the police is looking for him.
