To avoid any disease, it is necessary to make it careful in diet so that no serious disease of any kind comes near. Dr. Sandhya said that eating high amounts of bread or rice increases the level of carbohydrate in the body, so that blood sugar can go up rapidly. Therefore, keep their quantity limited and choose multigrain or low-black option instead of processed carb.

Eat so much oil in a month

Dr. Sadhya said that if the amount of oil we eat is not right, then you can be a victim of many diseases. He said that a person should consume only half a liter of oil in a month. This reduces additional fat and calorie intake, which plays an important role in the prevention of diabetes. Along with this, it is important to increase the fiber in the diet. The fiber slows down the digestive process and controls the blood sugar level. Include high-fiber foods like porridge, whole grains, vegetables and fruits in your diet.

Avoid cholesterol enhancing things

Durations like more fried-rooted, butter, cream or red meat can increase cholesterol, which increases the risk of diabetes and heart disease. Reduce such foods or leave it completely. Excess of saturated fat such as ghee, butter or full-fat dairy products can increase insulin resistance in the body. Instead of these, give priority to healthy fat like omega-3 fatty acids.

Follow plant based diet

Plant-based diets like fruits, vegetables, pulses, beans and nuts help in protecting against diabetes. This diet keeps blood sugar and insulin levels in the body in better balance. Flex seeds, chia seeds, walnuts reduce omega-3 fatty acids in foods like walnuts and improve insulin sensitivity. Take small amounts of them daily.
