TV9 Corporate Badminton Championship season 2 set to begin on May 15

New Delhi: The TV9 Corporate Badminton Championship 2026, which has become a great platform to promote sportsmanship among corporate employees and add excitement to competitive sports, is once again set to take the spotlight. Following the huge success of the first season, this mega event is returning on a much bigger scale with Season 2.

The inaugural season, which was held last year, received a brilliant response from several leading companies. Top organisations such as Google, Dell, Uber, MyHome, Microsoft, Infosys, Amazon, IKEA, MakeMyTrip, The Times of India, ABB, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Novartis, Schrodinger, Capgemini, Greenko, LMT, and Deloitte participated in the tournament. The championship featured more than 300 players, 64 corporate teams, and over 1,000 matches, making it a massive success.

Bigger and better season 2

After the successful first edition, the TV9 Network is all set to organise season 2 on an even bigger scale. The tournament will be played at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, from May 15 to 17, 2026.

Special association with Gopichand

One of the highlights of the championship is the continued association of Indian badminton legend and Padma Bhushan awardee Pullela Gopichand, who won the prestigious All England Open Badminton Championships in 2001. He played a significant role in promoting Indian badminton on the global stage. Under his guidance, the tournament promises to uphold high standards of quality, professionalism, and transparency.

Team Championship (Men’s Division)

Men’s Singles – 2 Matches
Men’s Doubles

Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 players, all belonging to the same organisation.

Open category (Individual Events)

Men’s Singles
Women’s Singles
Mixed Doubles

Participants from different organisations are also eligible to compete in the open category.

Attractive prize money

Winners of the championship will receive total prize money worth Rs 5 lakh, along with trophies and special recognitions.
