As winter tiptoes in with its cool breeze and cozy vibes, it brings along a silent reminder to care a little extra for our skin. The chilly winds may try to steal the glow, but our &TV artists are here to share their tried-and-tested skincare secrets that help them keep their radiance intact even during the coldest months.
These include Priyamvada Kant (Latika, Gharwali Pedawali), Sonal Panwar (Inspector Malaika, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) who revealed how they embrace the season with warmth, care, and a whole lot of glows! Priyamvada Kant , who will be seen portraying Latika in upcoming show Gharwali Pedawali , shared, “Winter is that time of the year when my skin needs a lot of love and hydration. I make it a point to use rose water and glycerin before sleeping-it keeps my skin soft and supple. I also rely on natural ingredients like honey, curd, and turmeric for quick homemade masks that deeply nourish my skin. During long outdoor shoots, I always carry a facial mist and lip balm to keep dryness at bay. I believe skincare is self-care; when you take care of yourself, your glow becomes effortless and natural.”
Sonal Panwar, who plays Inspector Malaika in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, said, “The winter season brings a different kind of beauty, but also challenges for our skin-especially under makeup and studio lights. My go-to remedy is applying aloe vera gel daily, followed by a rich moisturizer to lock in hydration. Once or twice a week, I use a coffee and olive oil scrub to exfoliate and rejuvenate my skin. Coconut oil is my best friend in winter; I even use it overnight for that natural sheen. Skincare is not about luxury for me; it’s about consistency and care, no matter how busy life gets.” Shubhangi Atre , known for her portrayal of Angoori Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, added, “Winters are my favourite, but they do demand some extra pampering for the skin. I prefer using natural remedies over cosmetic products. My favourite DIY face pack is made of banana, honey, and milk, it instantly refreshes and brightens my face. I never skip sunscreen, even on cloudy days, because the sun’s rays can still affect the skin. I also prefer buttermilk to cleanse my face as a reliable treatment after a long day in the shoot. I also make it a habit to drink warm water with lemon and honey every morning; it keeps my skin clear and glowing from within. For me, true beauty in winter is about feeling fresh, happy, and confident.”
