Actor Tusshar Kapoor has praised director Ahmed Khan’s commitment to his vision in the upcoming comedy film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, saying the filmmaker did not compromise on the film’s execution despite its large ensemble cast.
Speaking about the project, Kapoor said Khan took time to ensure every actor had a meaningful place in the story.
“Ahmed Khan never compromised on how he visualized and executed the film. He has justified the cast in the story. Maybe that’s why it has taken time, but that’s his passion,” Kapoor said.
The actor also lauded co-star Akshay Kumar’s work ethic, saying the veteran actor remains thoroughly prepared even while keeping the atmosphere on set light-hearted.
Reflecting on their reunion, Kapoor said Kumar has a strong command of the script and balances his playful nature with professionalism.
“Akshay is sharp and the entire script is at the tip of his fingers. Even though he’s always joking around and playing pranks, he works equally hard,” Kapoor said.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ features an ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and Tusshar Kapoor. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
