Tu Yaa Main OTT Release Date Out: Watch Adarsh Gourav, Shanaya Kapoor’s Crocodile Survival Thriller On Netflix

Tu Yaa Main OTT Release Date: Bollywood’s most talked-about survival film of early 2026 is getting a second shot. Tu Yaa Main, directed by Bejoy Nambiar and starring   and Shanaya Kapoor, is now arriving on Netflix.

The film, which released in theatres alongside Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s O Romeo, did not make big waves at the box office but earned praise from those who watched it. Now, with one of the world’s biggest streaming platforms as its new home, it will finally reach a wider audience.

When And Where To Watch Tu Yaa Main Online

Taking to social media, Netflix officially announced the digital release date of Tu Yaa Main. The crocodile survival thriller will be arriving on Netflix on April 10. Viewers in India can expect the film to go live at 12:00 AM IST, making it a perfect midnight watch for fans of survival thrillers. Tu Yaa Main will be available exclusively on Netflix, accessible through the app or website with any active subscription plan.

Netflix holds the post-theatrical streaming rights to the film, and on its catalogue, the platform has already listed the movie a few days back. So if you were waiting to catch this one from your couch, that wait ends tonight!

Tu Yaa Main Plot: Two Very Different People, One Very Dangerous Pool

Tu Yaa Main follows two contrasting Gen Z influencers, a struggling rapper named Maruti, played by Adarsh Gourav and a wealthy socialite named Avani, played by Shanaya Kapoor. Their complicated romance is tested when they become accidentally trapped in a 20-foot-deep abandoned swimming pool in Goa. A crocodile is in there with them.

The film draws inspiration from the Thai survival horror film The Pool (2018). Interestingly, Shanaya Kapoor revealed that she deliberately chose not to watch the original before shooting, aiming to deliver a more organic and fresh performance.

Critical Praise, But Quiet Box Office

Despite receiving largely positive reviews from critics and audiences, the film struggled at the box office and only managed to earn Rs 7.31 crore net in India, as per reports.

Adarsh Gourav has been open about what this Netflix release means to him. He spoke about how an OTT release gives a film a second life, with Netflix’s wide reach allowing audiences across geographies to engage with it in a more personal space at home.

He added that he is genuinely looking forward to a new wave of reactions, from people who might experience the film very differently sitting alone at midnight than they would have in a packed theatre.
