Tu Ya Koi Nahin: Chetan Hansraj Praises Ishika Shahi’s Fresh Vision, Says He Instantly Said Yes To The Project

Actor Chetan Hansraj is all set to be seen in creator Ishika Shahi’s new series Tu Ya Koi Nahin on the Directors Kut Production YouTube channel.

The show stars Mishkat Varma and Priyanshi Yadav in the lead and promises a blend of love, drama and emotions.

Talking about the project, Chetan says the story instantly appealed to him because it has all the ingredients of an engaging watch. “I think viewers are really going to enjoy this because it has love, action and drama. It’s an interesting story that has been created by the youth and performed by the youth. It brings a very fresh and energetic vibe,” he says.

The actor is particularly impressed with Ishika Shahi’s approach to storytelling. “Ishika brought a fresh perspective to filmmaking. Having grown up around the industry because of her parents, she’s now exploring her own creative path and bringing her own vision to the screen. I was really impressed with the way she approached every shot, her calmness, poise and clarity of thought,” he shares.

Chetan adds that working with youngsters always offers a learning experience. “From the actors to the director, everyone contributes new ideas and approaches. As an actor, you keep learning and collaborating with young talent is always rewarding.”

The actor also praises the chemistry between the lead pair. “The hero and heroine share a great bond, which is extremely important. If actors don’t connect off-screen, it often reflects on-screen. Their chemistry was natural and they looked wonderful together,” he says.

Without revealing too much about his role, Chetan hints that his character will add intensity to the narrative. “Love, obsession and destiny are all integral to this story. There is love between the hero and heroine, obsession-particularly in my character’s desire to keep them apart-and destiny, which ultimately shapes their journey. I can’t reveal much because I’ve been asked to keep it under wraps, but I can say that it’s an intense role.”

Interestingly, it was both the story and Ishika’s involvement that convinced him to come on board. “The moment I heard the narration, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I understand the aesthetics and storytelling sensibilities of Rajanji and his team, and I was excited to see how Ishika would bring her own vision to the screen. It’s a beautiful love story, and my character is incredibly intense,” he concludes.
