Amidst the war with Iran, US President Donald Trump has made a big announcement. Trump has said that a new oil refinery is going to be built in America after 50 years. The special thing is that India’s Reliance Industries will invest in this oil refinery to be built in Brownsville, Texas at a cost of 300 billion dollars. Trump made this announcement late on Tuesday night and called it the biggest deal in America’s history. He said that this will greatly benefit America’s energy production.
Announcing this project on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that this refinery will be built by America First Refining and India’s largest private company Reliance Industries will help in the form of investment.

Trump wrote, Today I am proud that America First Refining is opening the first new American oil refinery to be built in the last 50 years in Brownsville, Texas. He said that this project is a historic deal of 300 billion dollars. He described this investment as the largest in the history of America and thanked his partners in India and their largest private energy company Reliance for this big investment. The thing to note is that Reliance Industries has not yet confirmed this claim of Trump.
Big stakes amid Middle East war
The refinery will be built at the Brownsville Port, which is an important shipping hub on the Gulf Coast. It is expected that this refinery will provide fuel to the US domestic market and will also increase global energy exports from America. Trump said, the new refinery to be built at Brownsville Port will fuel the American market, strengthen our national security, increase American energy production and have a billion-dollar impact on the economy.

The US President also claimed that this refinery will be very advanced in terms of environment and described it as the cleanest refinery in the world. According to Trump, this project will create thousands of jobs and increase economic activity on a large scale in South Texas. Trump also linked this investment to the economic policies of his government. He says that due to simplifying the permit process and reducing taxes, big investments are coming to America. He said, because of our America First agenda, simplifying the permit process and reducing taxes, deals worth billions of dollars are coming to our country again.
