New Delhi: Newly appointed US ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, announced that Washington and New Delhi are set to proceed with trade deal talks in the next round from Tuesday, January 12. Gor stated that no other nation is as essential to the United States as India, and President Donald Trump may visit India by 2027.
Gor is also a Special Envoy to South and Central Asia at the US Embassy. The US ambassador asserted that Trump and Narendra Modi shared a real friendship and stated that real friends can deal with their differences.
