‘Gold Card’ Visa
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday launched a new visa program ‘Trump Gold Card’ in the presence of business leaders at the White House. Trump described it as much better than the Green Card and claimed that it would bring both wealth and skills on a large scale to the American economy.

According to Trump, this new Gold Card program has been specially designed for those foreign investors and entrepreneurs who want to bring their capital, business and talent to America. He says that this will provide new opportunities to American industry, companies will get qualified people and there will be a big jump in the economic progress of the country.
Trump also indicated that this program could prove to be a boon for those areas where there has been a complaint of lack of foreign experts for a long time. According to him, ‘Many talented youth of the world had to go back to their countries like India, China or France after completing their studies, but now companies will be able to stop them in America.’
Gold Card website now live
President Trump announced that the official website of the Gold Card has gone live and the application process has also been started. Now foreign citizens can apply for this special visa by filling the online form. The most important condition for obtaining a Gold Card is to contribute 1 million dollars (about 1 million dollars) to the US treasury. This money will go directly to the US government and in return the applicant will be allowed permanent residence i.e. permission to live and work in America.
