On which countries will the tariff be imposed and when will it be implemented?
Donald Trump posted on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that from February 1, 2026, a 10 percent tariff will be imposed on all goods coming to America from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Finland. He also warned that if no agreement is reached regarding Greenland by June 1, 2026, the same tariff will be increased to 25 percent. This means that European countries will have a few months time, otherwise there will be a direct and huge impact on trade.
