In 2010, JDU’s Amala Devi defeated LJP’s Ananth Kumar Bharti by 19,023 votes. Amala Devi got 63,729 votes, while Ananth Kumar got 44,706 votes. This victory became the first chapter of victory for JDU on Triveniganj seat.

Tough competition in 2020

The 2020 election was very exciting. RJD’s Santosh Kumar gave a tough challenge to Veena Bharti. Veena Bharti won at the last moment by a very narrow margin of 3,031 votes. He got 79,458 votes while Santosh Kumar got 76,427 votes. This result is an indication that the opposition has breached the JDU stronghold.

What will happen on Triveniganj seat in 2025 assembly elections?

Now the question is, will JDU be able to save its fort in the Triveniganj Assembly elections in 2025 or will the opposition turn the tables this time?
