Sanjay Dutt’s eldest daughter Trishala Dutt shared an emotional birthday message for the veteran actor as he turned 67 on Wednesday, describing him as an inseparable part of her life.
Taking to social media, Trishala shared pictures with her father and expressed her love and affection for him. In one photograph, the father-daughter duo was seen posing together at what appeared to be a restaurant, while another captured Trishala kissing Sanjay Dutt on the cheek.
“Happy, happy birthday to the other part of my soul. I love you Papa,” she wrote alongside the pictures.
Trishala is Sanjay Dutt’s daughter from his first marriage to actress-model Richa Sharma. The couple tied the knot in 1987 and welcomed Trishala in 1988. Richa Sharma passed away in 1996 after a prolonged battle with a brain tumour.
Based in New York, Trishala has stayed away from the film industry and works as a psychotherapist. She has previously spoken about personal struggles, grief and the importance of healing following the death of her former partner in 2019.
Earlier this year, Sanjay Dutt travelled to New York to spend Father’s Day with Trishala. She had shared pictures from their reunion and described the visit as a memorable surprise.
Sanjay Dutt is currently married to actress Maanayata Dutt, and the couple have twin children.
