Actor-politician Khushboo Sundar and filmmaker Sundar C celebrated a special family celebration as their elder daughter, Avantika Sundar, married Shravan Sreenivasan in a grand ceremony in Goa. The big-fat wedding saw several leading stars from the South Indian and Hindi film industries, making it one of the most talked-about celebrity events. From Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna to Trisha Krishnan, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor, several prominent names attended the festivities. Videos and pictures from the wedding have since gone viral. Interestingly, Tamil Nadu chief minister was not present at the event.

The wedding turned into a star-studded affair, with and his wife Surekha, Nagarjuna Akkineni and his wife Amala, and Venkatesh with his wife Neeraja among the distinguished guests. Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor were also seen mingling with attendees. Dressed in elegant traditional South Indian attire, including vesti and mundu, the stars perfectly complemented the grandeur of the occasion. One of the viral videos showed Trisha seated in the front row, chatting with Chiranjeevi and his wife. It appeared that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay skipped the celebrations.

Ahead of the wedding, Khushboo Sundar and Sundar C travelled to New Delhi to personally invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharing photographs from the meeting on social media, Khushboo thanked the Prime Minister for his blessings. The family also met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay at his Chennai residence to personally extend a wedding invitation. Khusboo Sundar went on to call him his brother in the social media post.
Khushboo on the Wedding Preparations
Speaking at a recent event before the wedding, Khushboo revealed that the entire family was busy preparing for the celebrations.
“My elder daughter is busy with her wedding preparations. My husband Sundar is busy with the shooting of Purushan and wedding preparations. My younger daughter is taking care of the film production work,” she had said. Khushboo and Sundar C, who married in 2000, are parents to two daughters, Avantika and Anandita.

Apart from preparing for her wedding, Avantika has reportedly signed multiple acting projects and is gearing up the release of her Malayalam film Aarambham. Her younger sister, Anandita Sundar, has been building a career behind the camera. She has worked with filmmaker Mani Ratnam on Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Thug Life, and recently made her debut as a creative producer with Double Occupancy.
