Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will participate in this program. On this day, the sacrifice day of the brave woman Uda Devi is also celebrated.
Self-respect ceremony will begin
Along with the unveiling of the statue, ‘Swabhiman Samaroh’ will also be inaugurated. This program will be held on Sunday morning at 10 am, at Pasi intersection, Sector-19, Vrindavan Colony. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and many other public representatives will also be present on this occasion.
Uda Devi’s courage in the revolution of 1857
Heroine Uda Devi Pasi was a brave woman of the first Indian freedom struggle of 1857, who with her indomitable courage and bravery killed 36 British soldiers and attained martyrdom. In memory of his courage and sacrifice, a program is organized every year on his Martyrdom Day.
