Combined Commanders Conference: It has been decided to set up a tri -service education core and joint military stations to increase integration between Army, Air Force and Navy. This will help the armies prepare for the future.
Indian armed forces: Joint military stations will be constructed to increase solidarity and integration between the Indian armed forces. Along with this, a single three-service education core will be established by merging the education branches of the Army, Navy and Air Force. These decisions were taken at the Joint Commanders’ conference in Kolkata.
The Integrated Defense Staff (IDS) Headquarters said in a post on X, “On the last day of the Joint Commanders’ Conference (CCC), the decision to create a single-three-service education core by combining the education branches of the three armies. It has also been decided to constitute three joint military stations.”
Integration will be ready for the future
Asianet Newzable English spoke to Major General Ashok Kumar (retired), Director General of Center for Joint Warfare Studies (Cenjows), about the recently taken decisions by India’s top military leadership. Cenjows is a tri -service think tank that is dedicated to working and promoting coordination to strengthen India’s integrated national power.
Major General Ashok Kumar said, “Jointness, integration and theaterization were targets set for the reorganization of the Indian Army. It is necessary to work together and coordinate for the operation of theater commands.” They said,
About 200 areas have been identified for the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force ready for the future. This approach also helped us to perform extraordinary during Operation Sindoor.
Case of setting up joint military stations was long pending
Ashok Kumar said that the construction of similar military stations for the three armies was pending for a long time. Now the time has come to declare all land, infrastructure and stations as a common station. A practical policy can be developed in the best interest of all stakeholders.

Defense Minister puts Prakash on the mantra “Jai”
A day earlier, while addressing the commanders, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh called for focus on the mantra of “Jai (jointness, self -reliance and innovation)” given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the inaugural session of the conference on 15 September. The Defense Minister said that the country’s defense sector focuses on modernization, operational readiness, technical superiority and reliable prevention. He called upon the industry and education to work together for the development of technology prepared for the future.
