Trains will talk to the air! New gear of Indian Railways; Your travel style will change soon

India is ready to welcome the Bullet Train in the coming few years. Amidst all this, many such works have been done by the Railways on the existing track so that the speed of train operation can be increased. According to the information received by TV9 Bharatvarsh, trains can be operated at a speed of 180 kilometers on some selected routes of the country. The trial for this is going on very fast.

Making a remarkable achievement in the field of rail operations on behalf of Railways, East Central Railway is today conducting speed trial by a special train from DDU towards Pradhan Khanta. For the first time, a special train is being operated in East Central Railway with a maximum speed of up to 180 km/hr. This can reduce the time taken by trains to reach their destination on the existing track by up to 45 minutes.

The approximate rail distance between Pardhankhanti Railway Station (Pardhan Khanti) to DDU (Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Mughalsarai) is around 110 to 120 kilometers. This distance is usually covered by major trains in 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the speed of the train and the stations en route.

Sawai Madhopur and Kota section

There is a distance of about 125 kilometers between Sawai Madhopur and Kota of Rajasthan. On this track also, trials of operating trains at a speed of 180 kilometers were conducted. It is also being claimed here that trains will take 30 to 45 minutes less time. Work on Delhi Agra section is also going on at a very fast pace. Fencing is being done here also. With this, trains can soon operate at a speed of 150 kilometers on this section.

Fencing work should be done soon

Railways has advised all the zones to complete the fencing work at all places as soon as possible in the coming days. So that the track structure can be improved for operating passenger trains at speeds greater than the existing 110 km per hour. As a recommended requirement for this, fencing along the entire track is to be completed within 3 years of increase in sectional speed.

Not to stop encroachment but to increase speed

It is being claimed by the Railways that at present the fencing being done at most of the places is being done to prevent encroachment on the railway land. Despite this, the purpose of the fencing that is being done now is to prevent the entry of animals and vehicles so that trains can operate uninterrupted.

Fencing for high speed train

At many places the railway track passes through several villages along its alignment. In such a situation, incidents of pedestrians, cattle, vehicles etc. crossing the tracks are seen at many places. Therefore, fencing is necessary to prevent such crossings and to keep trains running at speeds above 110 kmph safe.
