Railways has changed the rules for ticket cancellation. Canceling your ticket is going to have a direct impact on your pocket. Under this new update of Railways, minimum charge will be deducted if the ticket is canceled before 72 hours. After this, if the ticket is canceled between 72 to 24 hours, up to 25 percent of the money will be deducted. If the ticket is canceled within 24 to 8 hours, there will be a reduction of up to 50 percent. However, if the ticket is canceled in less than 8 hours, no refund will be given. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared information regarding this.
