According to the information, on Wednesday morning the disaster control room received information that a Bolero (UK04TB-2074) fell into a ditch about 200 meters deep at a place called Bagdhar before the ghat. The vehicle had gone from Bussel to Balatadi in Gangolihat area of ​​the police station and the accident occurred while returning.

SDRF and police conducted rescue operation

As soon as the information was received, SDRF team reached the spot under the leadership of CT Rajendra Singh from Post Champawat. The rescue operation remained challenging due to dangerous slopes and difficult terrain. The team pulled out the dead and injured with the help of rope system and stretchers. The injured have been sent to the hospital with the help of local people and police.

5 people died, 5 injured

There were a total of 10 people in the vehicle. Five of these people died on the spot. The injured are being shifted to better facilities after first aid.
