Delhi Traffic Advisory: Delhi Traffic Police has issued an essential traffic advisory for August 5 on Tuesday, August 5. According to this, traffic diversion and some restrictions will be applicable on many routes of the capital from 8 am to 10:30 am. Especially in busy areas like Delhi Gate, Rajghat, ITO and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, people may face trouble.
Traffic diversion applicable
According to the traffic police, traffic diversion will remain in force in the surrounding areas including W-Point, A-Point ITO Chowk, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate, JLN Road, Rajghat Crossing, MGM and IP Marg. Along with Carriageway, service roads will also remain closed.
Parking facility will not be available in these areas
The advisory has also clarified that no parking will be allowed on Ring Road from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg and Shanti Van to Rajghat via Rajghat. During this time, if a vehicle is found to be standing in these areas, then it will be taken from the crane and action will be taken under the traffic rules. In addition, the flyover of the IP route will be closed on both sides on Tuesday. Passengers have been advised to avoid these routes and use alternative routes.

Traffic police appealed to people
The traffic police has appealed to the people to follow the traffic rules and follow the instructions of the policemen. The traffic department also first shared information with the people about the repair of Sarita Vihar flyover. Half of this flyover will remain closed from July 25 to August 8, while the rest will be somewhat operational. Apart from this, many routes in Delhi were closed for some time to handle the crowd of devotees during the Kandar Yatra last month.
