With this, the project is now not just in the files but has moved towards ground construction.
Construction work is also in progress
Talking about construction activities, building maps of 15 investors have been approved, while construction work has also started in 4 industrial units. This is being considered an important achievement towards the actualization of the toy park. The Yogi government insists that along with the allocation, the projects should be implemented in a timely manner, so that employment generation and the local economy can get a boost.
Process for acquisition of 7 plots continues
According to the authority, land for 4 plots out of the total 11 plots under the second phase of the toy park has been made available, which have been published under the new scheme. The remaining 7 plots, with a total area of 6.71 acres, are yet to be allotted. The process of land acquisition for these plots is being carried forward rapidly, so that these can also be made available to investors as soon as possible.
Plan to develop modern ecosystem for toy industry
Under the Toy Park, it is proposed to establish manufacturing units related to toy industry, which will include activities related to manufacturing of plastic, wood, fabric, metal and electronic toys. Under the scheme, it is proposed to develop common facility centre, infrastructure related to design, packaging, testing, warehousing and logistics. Along with this, it is also envisaged to make arrangements towards connecting MSMEs and startups with industrial activities, promoting skill development and employment generation, so that the Yamuna Expressway area can be developed as an organized industrial center of the toy industry.
