Meanwhile, a YouTuber has revealed that he received a legal notice over his review of Toxic. This comes after a Bengaluru court granted the film’s makers an interim injunction against the publication or circulation of false or defamatory content.

YouTuber Receives Legal Notice From Toxic Team

YouTuber Suraj Kumar shared a screenshot of an email he received from Bengaluru-based Aiplex Software Private Limited, which was acting on behalf of , identified in the notice as the film’s producer and copyright owner. The communication stated that the company had noticed content about Toxic being published and circulated through digital and online platforms.

The legal notice follows an interim order passed by a Bengaluru court on August 22. According to PTI, the Additional City Civil and Sessions Court granted an ex parte temporary injunction restraining the publication or circulation of false or defamatory content concerning . The order was issued in a suit filed by KVN Productions LLP against several defendants, including X Corp and unidentified individuals represented as a John Doe defendant.

The injunction is set to remain in force until the next hearing on September 28, subject to the conditions outlined by the court. The order also states that it cannot be used for purposes beyond those for which it was granted.

Toxic Ratings Disappear From BookMyShow
