Toxic box office collection day 8: Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is struggling to maintain its momentum at the box office. Despite opening with a massive Rs 101 crore net in India, the gangster drama has witnessed a sharp decline in daily collections following mixed reviews and a largely negative audience response. The film earned less than Rs 4 crore on Wednesday, September 2, marking its lowest single-day collection so far. With Toxic witnessing a sharp drop in collections on its eighth day, the Yash-starrer now faces an uphill battle to reach the Rs 300-crore milestone.
Toxic Sees Another Major Dip
As per Sacnilk, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups earned Rs 3.81 crore net in India on its eighth day (at the time of writing), marking its lowest single-day collection since its release. The film had already witnessed a significant decline after its massive opening, and the latest figures suggest that the downward trend is continuing.
The Kannada version contributed Rs 1.08 crore, while the Hindi version recorded Rs 2.32 crore on Wednesday. With weekday collections showing limited signs of recovery, Toxic now has a difficult road ahead if it is to cross the Rs300-crore mark in its theatrical run.

Toxic began its box office journey on a strong note, with ; s star power helping it register an impressive Rs 101 crore net on its opening day in India. The film delivered the second-biggest opening for a Kannada film and also recorded one of the year’s biggest domestic openings. However, the initial momentum did not last. After collecting Rs 37.65 crore on day two, the film earned Rs 25.15 crore on Saturday and Rs 23 crore on Sunday. Its collections then dropped to Rs 7.45 crore on Monday and saw a marginal rise to Rs 7.85 crore on Tuesday before falling sharply again on Wednesday.
