Toxic Advance Booking Now Open: Yash’s Film Sells Over 2.5 Lakh Tickets, Collects Rs 10 Crore Ahead Of Release

Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups is coming and it is bringing a box office tsunami with it. Even before its grand release and despite multiple delays, the Yash starrer is enjoying massive hype. Amid the buzz, the makers opened advance bookings on Friday, almost a week ahead of its opening day. And the numbers are looking great! As per early estimates, the Geethu Mohandas directorial has already minted over Rs 10 crore from advance ticket sales. This means it is all set for a bumper opening at the box office. If the trend continues in the coming days, Toxic could make and break several box office records.

Toxic Advance Booking Now Open: How Many Tickets Sold?

As per a report by Sacnilk,   has already minted Rs 10.94 crore across languages. According to early estimates, the film has sold more than 2.5 lakh tickets in India.

The stylish actioner is eyeing a massive global release across around 12,000 screens. However, the final screen count is yet to be confirmed. With four days remaining until its grand worldwide release, Toxic’s advance booking sales are expected to increase further. Notably, this is a major feat for a strictly ‘A’-rated film.

Toxic Story, Cast, More

The actioner also stars actresses  , Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in key roles. Helmed by Geethu Mohandas, the film is co-produced by Yash and Venkat K. Narayana’s KVN Productions.

Set in Goa between the 1940s and 1970s, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups tells the story of Raya, a feared gangster who rises to power by building a huge crime empire. As his influence grows, he faces enemies, betrayal, changing alliances and his own dark side.

The film’s glimpses have created quite a buzz on social media. While Yash’s fans can’t stop praising the ‘Rocking Star’, many have criticised the film for its portrayal of women. Its ‘  teaser had also faced backlash over certain scenes and content. However, the trailer offered fans a deeper look at the story. Recently, the makers unveiled the   which left the internet impressed.
