Toprak Razgatlioglu «urges» Ducati to take Nicolò Bulega to MotoGP: ‘He deserved a seat’

While he himself is being speculated for a move to MotoGP in 2026, Toprak Razgatlioglu believes there is at least one current rival who also deserves that step – Nicolò Bulega, who is leading the Superbike World Championship.

The Turkish rider from ROKiT BMW said, as quoted by the website SPEEDWEEK.com: ‘I hope Ducati and Bulega stay together for many years. He deserved a seat in MotoGP, Ducati has to make a plan for him. He is a remarkable talent and is now in his second year in Superbikes. We have fought hard for victories’.

Razgatlioglu also believes that, at this point, Bulega is the only one getting the most out of the Panigale V4 R: ‘The Ducati is a very strong bike, everyone knows that. But Bulega rides it at the top level’.

Could MotoGP be possible for Bulega? Last year’s champion commented: ‘He has to go to MotoGP with Ducati, he is younger than me. I think the move is possible’.

Bulega will turn 26 in October, was Supersport world champion in 2023 and last year finished runner-up in WSBK. The rider has a past in the MotoGP paddock, having competed in Moto3 and Moto2 without much success.
