The film industry is reportedly abuzz over the alleged behaviour of a top director who is said to have a serious temper problem.
According to gossip doing the rounds, the director allegedly manhandled one of his assistant directors after losing his cool.
The director’s temper is said to have become a recurring issue on the set. He has reportedly gone through several assistant directors so far, with many of them walking away after finding it difficult to work with him.
“We simply can’t work with him anymore,” is reportedly the complaint being heard behind the scenes.
Despite repeated changes in his team, the director’s behaviour is said to have remained unchanged. Some senior artistes working on the film are also reportedly questioning his lack of patience.
Those close to the unit allegedly feel that there is a limit to how much pressure assistant directors can take.
With one assistant after another reportedly leaving, there is growing concern that the situation is affecting both team morale and the overall quality of the film.
