He reached INS Vikrant off the coast of Goa and Karwar, where he met naval officers and personnel. PM Modi wished everyone a happy Diwali and said that today is a very special day, this moment will be memorable. Like every year, this time too the Prime Minister followed the tradition of celebrating Diwali with our brave soldiers. He said that the soldiers of the country are a symbol of our pride and security.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday celebrated Diwali with Navy personnel aboard INS Vikrant off the coast of Goa and Karwar. Addressing the soldiers on this occasion, he said that today is a very special and memorable day. PM Modi said, “Today on one side I have the vast ocean, and on the other side I have the strength of the brave sons of Mother India.”

What did PM Modi say?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address said that today on one hand I have infinite sky and horizon in front of me, and on the other hand I have INS Vikrant, a symbol of India’s strength. He said that the glow of the sun’s rays on the sea looks like the light of the lamps lit by our brave soldiers. PM Modi said that he considers himself fortunate that this time he got the opportunity to celebrate this holy festival of Diwali with the brave soldiers of the Navy.
The Prime Minister said that the last night spent on INS Vikrant was unforgettable for him. He said that the enthusiasm and energy among the soldiers was worth seeing. When he sang patriotic songs and mentioned “Operation Sindoor”, the moment was full of immense pride and emotions. PM Modi said that such an experience can be felt only by the one who is a soldier standing in the defense of the country.
