Ishan Kishan-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Rishabh Pant’s Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 10th of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the first game of Super Sunday.
Kishan-led SRH kicked off their campaign with a defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They handed a 65-run defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders in their second away game. LSG have only played one fixture so far. They suffered a defeat against Delhi Capitals (DC) and have landed in Hyderabad in the hunt for their first win.
The much-awaited SRH-LSG fixture will start at 3:30 PM IST. The toss will take place at 3:00 PM IST. The toss result doesn’t matter much at this venue. But given the slight prediction of rain, the captain winning the toss might opt to bowl first.
All eyes will be on Kishan going into the fixture. He has changed his batting approach completely in the past one year and has increased his strike rate. SRH can become the first IPL team in history to breach the 300-run mark should Kishan play a big knock.
The Orange Army has the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma who can take their team to the elusive 300-run mark.
SRH will continue to be without the services of Pat . He has returned to Australia to get a final scan on his back injury. The full-time SRH captain has already confirmed that he wil only be available for the second half of the tournament.

LSG have their own challenges going into the game against SRH. The team management made the shocking call to change their established opening pair of Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh as captain Pant came out to face the new ball with Marsh.
Markram and Marsh delivered consistently in IPL 2025 and LSG might go back to them if Pant fails to score in another couple of matches.
SRH vs LSG match prediction
SRH have all their bases covered in the absence of their captain and star pacer, Pat Cummins. LSG have a few glaring gaps in their lineup. SRH are the favourites to defeat LSG in the 10th match of IPL 2026.
