The country’s politics has heated up regarding ED Raid. There was an uproar from Delhi to Kolkata in protest against the ED action on the premises of TMC IT cell chief and I-PAC director Prateek Jain in West Bengal. TMC MPs demonstrated outside the Home Ministry in Delhi, slogans were raised and 8 MPs were detained. At the same time, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself reached Prateek Jain’s house and office during the ED raid and appealed to Prime Minister Modi to “control” the Home Minister.
