Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the ‘Times Samman-2026’ program organized on Saturday. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present on this occasion. The Chief Minister described this event as a special occasion to honor the brave soldiers and heroines of the country. He said that India resides in the breath of every soldier, who works to give life to the nation. Their identity and bravery gives the power to hoist the tricolor proudly.
Said the sacrifice of soldiers and their families incomparable
The Chief Minister said that the sacrifice of brave mothers and military families cannot be expressed in words. A soldier protects the country on the border, but his family also faces difficult situations every day. He said that this honor is also an honor for those tears which never reach the stage.
Indian soldier remains steadfast even in difficult circumstances
CM Yogi said that whether it is the bitter cold of Siachen, the scorching heat of the desert, the darkness of the dense forests or the challenges of the sea and the sky – the soldier remains steadfast in every situation and performs his duties. He said that when the soldier remains standing on the border, then 145 crore people of the country live a carefree life.
Emphasis on the strength and self-reliance of the Indian Army
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the Indian Army is becoming modern, strong and self-reliant. India now not only protects its borders but also comes forward to help friendly countries. He said that there should not be any kind of dispute on the issue of national security, because if the country is safe then we all are safe.
Respect towards army and soldiers is necessary
He said that every citizen should have a sense of respect for the army and soldiers. Every scheme of the government is not just a scheme, but a symbol of the society’s support towards the soldiers. He assured that the government will stand with the soldiers in every situation.
Increased power from BrahMos missile and defense corridor
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Uttar Pradesh is moving rapidly towards self-reliance in the defense sector. Six nodes of Defense Manufacturing Corridor are being developed in the state. BrahMos missile is being manufactured in Lucknow. He said that the use of BrahMos during Operation Sindoor made the world’s major powers realize the power of India.
Focus on drone technology and new innovations
He informed that Centers of Excellence for drone technology have been created in Noida and Kanpur. IIT Kanpur and Noida Center are working on new innovations in collaboration with the Army. Now India is not dependent on other countries in the defense sector and is becoming stronger with its own technology.
War memorial will become an inspiration for the youth
The Chief Minister said that the inauguration of the new war memorial will inspire the coming generations. The feeling of patriotism among the youth coming here will become stronger. He said that such events work to bring positive change in the society.
