Tikari Assembly Elections 2025: Will Hum Party spoil the game of Congress again?

Will HAM party repeat its victory in Tikari Assembly elections 2025 or will JDU and Congress make a comeback? JDU’s dominance in 2010 and 2015, but our party’s shocking victory in 2020… Who will win this time?

Tikari Assembly Election 2025: The contest for Tikari Assembly Election 2025 is going to be very interesting. The political history of Tikari seat located in Gaya district has been full of ups and downs. Sometimes JDU was dominant here, and sometimes Congress (INC) registered a strong presence. But in the 2020 elections, Ham Party (HAMS) changed all the equations and defeated both Congress and JDU. Now the question is, whom will the voters give a chance in 2025? Will HAM party repeat its victory or will JDU and Congress make a comeback?

JDU performed brilliantly in 2010

If we look at the Tikari Assembly election results, JDU had performed brilliantly in 2010 and 2015. In 2010, JDU candidate Dr. Anil Kumar defeated RJD rebel Kumar Verma by 18,541 votes. Anil Kumar got 67,706 votes, while Kumar Verma got 49,165 votes. This victory showed the strength of JDU in Tikari.

JDU hoisted the flag of victory for the second time

JDU’s dominance became even stronger in the 2015 elections. JDU candidate Abhay Kumar Sinha defeated Anil Kumar of HAM Party. This time Abhay Kumar Sinha won by getting 86,975 votes, while Anil Kumar could get only 55,162 votes. The victory margin was 31,813 votes, which further strengthened JDU.

In 2020, our party defeated the Congress candidate.

But in 2020 the equations changed completely. Anil Kumar of Hum Party (HAMS) defeated Sumant Kumar of Congress (INC) in a very close contest. Anil Kumar got 70,359 votes, while Sumant Kumar got 67,729 votes. The victory margin was only 2,630 votes. This election shows that voters in Tikari have now started giving a chance to new options as well.

Will NDA’s winning streak continue in 2025?

Now three big parties – JDU, Congress (INC) and Ham Party (HAMS) – will face each other in Tikari Assembly 2025. Considering the caste and social equations here, the contest may be triangular. The close victory of 2020 has made it clear that the elections here will not be easy for any party.
