Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the district collectors and officials at the Water Shed Mahotsav on Khargone, Khandwa and Guna of Madhya Pradesh getting first place in the Sixth National Water Award. CM also appealed for continuous public participation in water conservation.
Madhya Pradesh National Water Awards: During the Water Shed Mahotsav organized in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the district collectors and officials whose districts were honored in the sixth National Water Award. The awards were presented by President Draupadi Murmu on November 18 in New Delhi.
Madhya Pradesh’s efforts get national recognition
The Chief Minister said that this honor is the result of the continuous hard work of the government, innovations and the shared commitment of the society and the administration towards water conservation. He said that these achievements will inspire other districts also and the model of water conservation will become stronger in the entire state.
Appeal to make the state a leader in water conservation
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to all citizens and administrative units to continuously contribute to water conservation efforts, so that Madhya Pradesh can become a leading state in this field.

Khargone District: First Prize in Best District Category (West Zone)
Khandwa District: First Prize in Water Harvesting-Public Participation Initiative (Western Zone)
Municipal Council, Guna: First prize in the Best Urban Local Body category
