Bomb Threat: Schools and colleges have once again received a threat to bombing in Delhi. 18 August Monday morning, Delhi Public School Dwarka received a bomb threatening call. The school was then evacuated immediately. Police, bomb squad and fire department team reached the spot and started a search operation.

Information of threat through call

According to Delhi Fire Service, the control room was reported to be threatened via call at 7:24 am. Due to security reasons, the children were safely taken out and called the parents and appealed to take the children along.

Many schools and colleges have received threats

Even before this, many schools and colleges in Delhi have received threatened emails. In July, more than 20 schools were threatened by bombs via email, including Vasant Kunj’s Vasant Valley School, Dwarka’s St. Thomas School, Hauz Khas’s Mother’s International School and Sardar Patel School of Lodi Estate. However, after investigation, all these threats had turned out to be false.

Police is investigating the case seriously

Apart from the school, the college has also received bomb threats from the first email. Police say that in the last three days, about 10 schools and a college had received threatening messages. At present, the Delhi Police is investigating the entire case seriously. Officials said that strict action will be taken against those who spread any kind of rumor or negligent.
